The Co-operative Insurance has launched a new Smartbox, which may help drivers between the ages of 17 and 25 pay less for their car insurance premiums.
The new product is designed to reward young motorists for safer driving and will assess factors such as acceleration, braking, cornering, speed and journey times using GPS . Did you know that approximately £30 of your annual car insurance premium has been added to your overall costs as a result of the fact that there are uninsured drivers on the road? For once, insurance companies are not to blame for this but your fellow motorist (or at least some of them) is. A recent survey of 20 councils in the UK revealed some worrying news for those looking to try everything they can to keep a hold of their cheap car insurance. Budget cuts have found that the vast majority of potholes left over from the bad weather last winter have literally been patched up.
